2018 Narasimha Jayanti,2018 Sri Narasimha Jayanti Festivals

This year the Narasimha Jayanti will be celebrated on 28th April 2018

The fourth and the greatest manifestation of Lord Vishnu between his ten prime avatars is Lord Narasimha who emerged out of a pillar as Man-Lion. He devoured Demon-Lord Hiranyakashyapu who was Master Prahalada's father. When Prahlada was in the womb of his mother, Queen Kayaadu, he had the chance of listening to Devarishi Narada regarding Lord Vishnu's compassion towards his devotees. Hence right from his birth, Prahalada was dedicated to the name of Lord Vishnu.
